Five Cedars Greenhouse and garden center is located in The Village of Theresa New York on NY State Route 26. We are only 20 minutes from Watertown and less than 15 minutes from Fort Drum or Alexandria Bay and the 1000 Islands and 5 minutes from Redwood and Philadephia NY. Hours : 9 AM till Dusk - May thru August      Phone 519.2606 It's well worth the trip when you consider we have many plants and garden accessories not found at other garden centers or the big box stores. Most of what we offer is grown right here in our gardens or hand crafted in our studio, focusing on plants that will grow in our northern New York zone. Choose from a wide variety of garden and house plants including perennials, annuals, bedding plants, vegetable plants, lilies and herbs. ( Note, it's pronounced "herbs" because there's an "h" in it. ) We specialize in hard to find herbs and geraniums, both flowering and scented. This year we are offering more than than 25 types of herbs and more than 20 different geraniums. In addition to plants and garden accessories we offer our original avi orb terra cotta bird feeders and houses as well as our clay wind chimes. Visitors can keep an eye on a plant and see the progress from seedling to maturaty. The plant currently on display is a marigold. We snatched it from the greenhouse and we do not know the exact varity so it will be a suprise when it blooms. Hopefully we will not run out of room ! Check back often to see how things are going.
