Winter view of greenhouse from the woods.

Here is a view from the edge of the woods. The shadows can be seen just reaching the greenhouse and this shade moves in a parallel line with the green house.

If you look on top you can see snow and ice on the plastic.
Its amazing that on a bright day like this the temperature outside can be 0 degrees F while the temperature inside can be 80 degrees. And that's with only the solar radiation, no auxiliary heat.

As a mater of fact, while we were taking this picture the automatic ventilation fan came on. This shows how good the double plastic insulates.

Looking past the front of the greenhouse under the trees is the path up to the studio and house. Its about 130 feet to the studio and we keep it clear with our trusty 70s vintage Sears snow blower.
