Old hat, zone 4, cold climate garden blog.

We have decided to expand our review to all gardening catalogs, in part because we found the Gardeners Supply Company catalog in the mail box.

This catalog and website have some really neat items, many of which we have not seen anywhere else and they are having a sale to boot.

Here you can find everything from composting to shoes.  One item we really liked is the bamboo.  There are a few sizes to choose from and they even offer a faux bamboo.  The faux version is plastic coated steel and the system includes fasteners that allow the “bamboo” to be joined in an almost limitless number of ways.  This in only one of a number of plant support solutions in the catalog and on the site.

We did not see seeds for sale but they do offer plants such as raspberries, potatoes and asparagus.

We rate this catalog as a 7 on the scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best.
